Schedule for Payment of Fees:
Payment for First Year fees: 100% at the time of admission.
Payment for Second Year fees: 100% by June 30th.
Student should carry adequate cash for miscellaneous expenses.
The fees for MBA I year is interim fees and the students shall have to pay the fees as per final fee fixation by the SSS/Fees Regulatory Authority. Your fees cover the cost of your tuition per AY.
Fees do not cover the eligibility & examination fees, (to be paid to SPPU), fees for the non-SGPA courses (human rights, skills development & cyber security courses of the SPPU), mess fees, hostel fees, transportation fees.

Refund of tuition & development fees shall be made provided such application for cancellation is as per DTE process / made in writing, by the candidate & if and only if the admission is confirmed by paying the prescribed tuition fee and other fees in full and by submitting the original documents. Refund shall be made after deduction of the cancellation charges as per rules prescribed by DTE.


​Students belonging to reserved category & economically backward classes, only if admitted through DTE’s CAP Round, are eligible for Samajkalyan Scholarships, subject to fulfillment of conditions, notified from time to time.

Public Sector Banks, Private Sector Banks, Religious Trusts, Other financial Institutions provide education loans to the students. Students admitted to the MBA programme at VIM can also apply for educational loan from CREDILA (An HDFC Ltd. Co.) The Institute shall support the education loan process by providing the appropriate documents pertaining to the programme. The Salient features of the scheme are as under:
  • The scheme envisages loans up to Rs.7.5 lakh for studies in India and up to Rs. 15 lakh for studies abroad.
  • For loans up to Rs. 4 lakh no collateral or margin is required and the interest rate is not to exceed the Prime Lending Rates (PLR). For loans above Rs. 4 lakh the interest rate will not exceed PLR plus 1 percent.
  • The loans are to be repaid over a period of 5 to 7 years with provision of grace period of one year after completion of studies

What constitutes Ragging: - Ragging constitutes one or more of any of the following acts:
a. any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student;
b. indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student or students which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship, physical or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student;
c. asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, or torment or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher or any other student;
d. any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs the regular academic activity of any other student or a fresher;
e. exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for completing the academic tasks assigned to an individual or a group of students.
f. any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden put on a fresher or any other student by students;
g. any act of physical abuse including all variants of it: sexual abuse, homosexual assaults, stripping, forcing obscene and lewd acts, gestures, causing bodily harm or any other danger to health or person;
h. any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, posts, public insults which would also include deriving perverted pleasure, vicarious or sadistic thrill from actively or passively participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other student;
i. any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a fresher or any other student with or without an intent to derive a sadistic pleasure or showing off power, authority or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student.
