Ans. : All the Public Sector Banks as well as organizations like HDFC Credila provide educational loans to our students. Students need to visit the branches of these banks directly with required documents. VIM shall provide all supportive documents for students to avail the loan facilities.


Que.: Are there any scholarships for students?

Ans. : There are various scholarships available for MBA students those have taken admission through CAP round only. Direct admissions are not eligible for any scholarships offered by Govt. of Maharashtra/ BRACT.
a) There are merit scholarships from BRACT for meritorious students, as per laid down norms, conditions, eligibility and timeline.
b) There are scholarships for caste category students from the Government of Maharashtra, as per laid down norms, conditions, eligibility and timeline.
c) There are minority scholarships from the Government of Maharashtra, as per laid down norms, conditions, eligibility and timeline.

Ans. : Yes, the student can opt for Dual Specialization after he/she completes the MBA programme. He has to appear for the specialization subjects only.

Ans. : AMMI exam will be conducted in Aug 2015. The candidates passing this exam are also eligible for Institute Level seats.

Que.: Is there an opportunity to do a project as a part of the MBA programme?

Ans. : At the end of the first year, the students are required to undertake project work assignment in an organization. The project assignment is intended to give the students an opportunity to sharpen their knowledge and skills in their selected Industry Sectors of Business and also serves as a stepping stone for their final career. The Project Work Assignment is of 50 days / 8 weeks duration and a detailed project report of dissertation is submitted for in Semester III of second year.

Que.: What are the attendance requirements?

Ans. : a) The student must meet the requirement of 75% attendance per semester per course for granting the term. The Director shall have the right to withhold the student from appearing for examination of a specific course if the above requirement is not fulfilled.
b) Since the emphasis is on continuous learning and concurrent evaluation, it is expected that the students study all-round the semester. Therefore, there shall not be any preparatory leave before the University examinations.


Que.: What are the Institute Timings?

Ans. : The sessions are organized from 8 45 am to 05.15 pm (Monday to Friday). Besides the sessions and tutorials, students have to undertake projects, industry visits, study missions, field work, etc.
