SUBMISSION
DEADLINES & GUIDELINES
Deadline for the
abstracts submission:
Abstracts not exceeding 200 words, should reach the
organizers by 30th of December 2009. The manuscript must
include 4-6 key words. Please identify which area your
paper most applies to.
Date for communicating
the acceptance:
Authors will receive
abstract acceptance notice from the Organizing Committee
by 8th of January 2010
Deadline
for full paper submission:
The manuscript of the full paper in pdf format should
reach us on or before 25th of January 2010.
The manuscript should be
a)
Spacing:
double space
b)
Font:
Times New Roman
c)
Font
size: 12 points,
d)
Margins: one-inch all around
e)
Page
Numbering: consecutively numbered pages.
f)
Page
Limit: Though VIM may consider some exceptions, the
manuscript should not be more than 25 double spaced
pages including the table, figures, illustrations &
references.
g)
Title
Page: The title pages of the manuscript must include the
title of the theme, author’s name, affiliations, phone
numbers, and e-mail ids.
h)
Acknowledgements should appear at the bottom of the
title page.
i)
All tables, charts, and
graphs should be given on separate sheets with
titles. Wherever necessary, the source should be
indicated at the bottom. Number and complexity of such
exhibits should be as low as possible. All figures
should be indicated in million and billion. All graphs
should be black and not in colour. Endnotes,
italics, and quotation marks
should be kept to the minimum.

References should be complete in all respects and
arranged in alphabetical order at the end of the text.
(a) In the text, the
references should appear as follows: Dayal (2002) has
shown… or Recent studies (Ramnarayan, 2002; Murthy,
2001) indicate...
(b) Journal references
should be listed as follows: Khandwalla, P N (2001).
"Creative Restructuring," Vikalpa, 26(4), 3-18.
(c) Books should be
referred to as follows: Sugandhi, R K (2002). Business
to Business Marketing, New Delhi: New Age International.
k)
Please
identify which area your paper most applies to.
l) Papers must not have been published or accepted
for publication elsewhere or be currently under any
other review. A statement to this effect should appear
in the cover letter or transmittal e‐mail.
m)
Authors should avoid revealing their identities
in the body of the paper.
All correspondence will be addressed to first author, in case
of joint submissions.
The
preferred method of author contact will be through
e‐mail.
All
manuscripts should be electronically submitted through
email to
conference@vim.ac.in or girijanimgaonkar@vim.ac.in.
Review process
The manuscripts will be subjected to blind review process. The
decision of the reviewer will be final & binding.
Selected & complete papers will be published in the
Journal of VIM.
Conference Proceedings
A selected list of peer reviewed papers will be nominated for
publication in an edited Volume.
